Endowed Gifts

Your Gift Can Last Forever

An endowment gift to CARE can provide a brighter future for the most vulnerable populations, particularly girls and women. When you make a donation to an endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits.

Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at CARE. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.

An Example of How It Works

Nancy Kaehr In 1974, Nancy Olmsted Kaehr began supporting CARE because of its focus on helping the most vulnerable and marginalized people around the world. Following decades of dedicated support, she and her husband, the Reverend Canon Michael G. Kaehr, deepened their commitment to CARE by becoming legacy society members. Nancy worked closely with CARE to establish an endowed gift that will continue to grow her legacy for decades to come.
